Low B-vitamin levels mean blood cells can’t efficiently transport oxygen for reparative processes, like DNA synthesis.
Vitamin C supports the immune system, boosts collagen production and helps protect cells from damaging oxidative stress.
Our skin naturally produces vitamin D when exposed to sunlight, but most of us don't get enough.
A fatty acid that's the building blocks for cell membranes — your cells' protective barrier.
METHODOLOGY
This study represents the first UK-based double-blind, placebo-controlled randomised controlled trial of a multivitamin in healthy adults, designed to the highest standard of clinical research.
This 12-week trial was conducted in 37 healthy UK males and females (mean age 29, no diagnosed medical conditions or micronutrient deficiencies).
Participants were randomly assigned to receive either Vitals⁺ or an identical placebo (dummy) capsule. Fasted blood samples were taken before and after the intervention to assess nutrient biomarkers, alongside routine safety bloods and other clinical measures.
THE RESULTS
1. Nutrient deficiencies were widespread at baseline
Despite being an apparently healthy population, baseline blood testing revealed significant nutrient gaps.
40% of participants were deficient in folate (vitamin B9), 34% were deficient in vitamin B12 and 83% had suboptimal riboflavin (vitamin B2) status. These nutrients contribute to energy metabolism, brain function and cellular health.
2. A public health issue recognised beyond this study
Over half of participants presented elevated homocysteine levels, a metabolic marker associated with cardiovascular and brain health when raised.
Micronutrient gaps have been raised in UK parliamentary discussions and reflected in independent research, highlighting that these “hidden deficiencies” extend beyond this trial.
3. Significant improvements in key biomarkers after Vitals⁺
After 12 weeks, Vitals⁺ produced statistically significant improvements compared to placebo.
Plus, homocysteine concentrations fell by 33%, indicating more efficient B-vitamin metabolism supporting heart, brain and cellular pathways.
4. Clinically confirmed safe under gold-standard conditions
Routine safety testing found no clinically meaningful differences between Vitals⁺ and placebo across liver, kidney or blood health markers.
Vitals⁺ was well tolerated, with no significant safety concerns reported.
METHODOLOGY
An 8-month pilot study of Vitals⁺ usage was conducted in 14 healthy adults (mean age 38, no known clinical nutrient deficiencies upon enrolment).
It measured B-vitamin blood biomarkers and mental wellbeing pre- and post-intervention. There was no placebo group.
THE RESULTS
1. Significant improvement in B-vitamin levels
Blood levels of folate (B9) and vitamin B12 significally increased, with B9 rising by 49% (654 nmol/L to 976 nmol/L) and vitamin B12 increasing by 43% (70.4 pmol/L to 100.9 pmol/L).
2. Improvement in mental wellbeing
Psychological distress affected 39% of participants at baseline. By study end, 75% of those individuals reported improvement and overall distress fell to 9%.
3. 100% reached optimal vitamin levels
71% of participants started with suboptimal thiamine (B1) levels and 50% were deficient in riboflavin (B2).

METHODOLOGY
A 3-month study of Vitals⁺ was conducted in 32 healthy adults (mean age 43, no known medical conditions upon enrolment).
It collected objective (wearables) and subjective (questionnaires) measures of sleep, cognitive function, and mental wellbeing at weeks 4, 8, and 12. There was no placebo.
THE RESULTS
1. More sleep per night
After taking Vitals⁺, sleep outcomes improved most between weeks 8–12.
Total sleep increased by 56 minutes, with fewer self-reported sleep problems, including difficulty falling asleep.
2. Improved memory
Self-reported memory problems significantly improved after taking Vitals⁺, with working memory improving by 55% and overall memory problems decreasing by 21%.
3. Improved energy & focus
Participants also experienced a significant reduction in burnout-related symptoms, with burnout-like problems decreasing by 21%, and a 28% improvement in feeling better rested.

Slow release, even better results. Our delayed-release capsule delivers essential nutrients exactly where they’re needed to make the most impact.
These nutrients are slow-released into your body throughout the day to maintain a steady stream of focus and energy, helping support a more restful sleep at night.
Vitamins need healthy fats to be absorbed. Vitals⁺ has a protective omega 3 coat for optimal absorption (the first of its kind in the UK), delivering nutrients to the right place.
It takes ~12 weeks for your body to regenerate red blood cells and absorb key nutrients. That’s why Vitals⁺ is built for long-term use, steadily rebuilding nutrient reserves.
You may feel more focused, increased energy and start to find it easier to drift off to sleep as your energy metabolism improves and essential nutrient levels replenish. Study participants reported feeling improved memory recall at week 4 of the trial.
Key nutrients at work: B-vitamins, Anthocyanins.
Study participants gained 1 hour’s extra sleep a night and +54% improvement in short-term memory, so your mind may feel sharper and more focused as key vitamins and minerals start to take effect.
Key nutrients at work: Zinc, Vit A & C, Selenium, Iodine, B12.
Around this time you might feel more immune support from vitamins A, C, D3, selenium and zinc, working in synergy with fat soluble vitamins. Omega-3s, iodine, and vitamin C support long-term psychological function and cognition, helping you think clearly and stay level.
Key nutrients at work: Antioxidants (Vit C, E, A), Vit D3, Iron, Omega-3 DHA & EPA, Chromium.
Consistency is key, and you’ll now start to reap all the long-term benefits of your small daily habit. Supporting brain health, heart function and bone health for years to come.
Key nutrients at work: Zinc, Vit C, Selenium, Iodine, B12.
If you take other supplements or medications, it’s worth checking for any overlap of ingredients. For example, extra vitamin A, vitamin B6, zinc, or selenium from multiple products can add up, and you might be getting more than you need.
If you’re taking thyroid medication, anticoagulants or other prescriptions, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before combining, just to be sure everything works smoothly together.
Do not take Vitals⁺ if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
